Terror in the Philippenes

The dragon of the U.S army during world war 2
The battles fought in the Philippenes during world war 2 were violent and destructive. The U.S army used man made fire breathing dragon known as the flamethrower and the Japanese flew planes full of explosives into enemy ships. How would you feel if you were a general in these conditions? If you knew your battalions of troops were reduced to a few hundred ,all hiding in the jungles avoiding being killed or captured? would you panic? MacAurthur was one of those generals. The Japanese were winning the fight and thousands of soldiers were sent on a  extremely long walk from San Fernando to Balanga this was known as the Bataan death march. Hundreds died before they could even reach the concentration camp. MacAurthur had to retreat to Australia with the promise he will return. When he did the counter attack began.
